Current tabSRMM code no longer compatible with Miranda 0.7 (and earlier)
| this also applies to Clist Nicer.

As of early February, 2008, the changes related to the new protocol/account system in Mirandas core make it necessary to break a few things. Consequently, tabSRMM or Clist Nicer code taken from the trunk will refuse to work on current stable Miranda core builds.
What this means
You can no longer run tabSRMM builds compiled from trunk code in stable Miranda 0.7. If you want to build tabSRMM from source and have it compatible with 0.7, you must use the stable branch from SVN.
Binaries distributed with Miranda 0.8 testing / nightly builds will also not work in Miranda 0.7
- To compile for stable 0.7, use the following repository:
- Or use my googlecode repository which holds the stable branch for tabSRMM 2.0
The changes in the core will alter the behaviour of some important services. Unfortunately, this is not avoidable while Miranda migrates to a more advanced protocol plugin API. The biggest advantage will be the fact, that in Miranda 0.8, it will no longer be necessary to copy a protocol DLL in order to create a new instance.
