tabSRMM MadMOD

Some day ago, a heavily modified build of tabSRMM^[1] was released on the official Miranda forum. The author, Mad Cluster, added a lot of new features, some of them being quite popular requests which I never implemented. Some of these things include:

• fully customizable button bar
• merged typing notify plugin (with popups)
• animated .GIF avatars
• many small fixes or other improvements

What this means for tabSRMM's future

Actually, good things. Since my time was and still is limited to implement new features (in the last months, I mainly focused on stability) new things may appear more frequently in the future.

I agreed with the author to merge all the changes into the official version so we can avoid splitting the code and confuse people by having multiple different versions of tabSRMM.

In the future, the best thing would be to work cooperatively on the plugin, develop new things independently from the main source code and merge them into the official Miranda sources when they have proven to be stable and working.
